Yesterday’s photoshoot with Liz and Milo was an adventure that could only be described as “a day in the life of a dog model.” Picture this: Milo, the tiny Chihuahua with the confidence of a lion, wearing his little puffer jacket like he’s about to walk the runway at Paris Fashion Week. Meanwhile, Liz, with her perfect platinum hair flowing in the breeze, stood there like the doting fashion manager, ensuring Milo’s look was on point for every shot.
Armed with my Sony A7r5 and a Tamron 75-180mm f2.8, I was ready to capture every second of this duo’s undeniable star power. As soon as the camera clicked, Milo transformed. One second, he was giving “serious business dog” vibes, and the next, his ears were perked up, striking a pose that screamed, “I woke up like this.” I swear, if dogs could smize, Milo was nailing it!
Liz played the perfect role as the supportive stage mom, lifting Milo like the iconic Lion King moment (cue the “Circle of Life”). Every time I adjusted the focus, Milo turned his head just so, making sure I got his “good side” – not that he had a bad one, of course.
In the end, the photoshoot turned into a glamorous event, with Milo clearly understanding the assignment: dominate the frame with cute fierceness. And Liz? Well, she was just happy to be in the presence of greatness, holding her dog-slash-superstar close.
